AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

Service Description

Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed to provide effective training for a wide variety of healthcare students, professionals, and other personnel working in occupations where this training can become an invaluable part of saving lives. The ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner are the main highlights of the curriculum. Successful completion of the class results in the issuance of the American Heart Association BLS Provider card evidencing this accomplishment. This CPR training is the most widely accepted proof of training for all groups of people, including healthcare providers. This class is intended for both Initial and Renewal completions-the course is still 3 hours long for both.
